Once More Into The Fray

Greetings, once again, this post is a few days late, if anyone cares, please comment. I have "officialized" the link to Strolen's Citadel, as you can probably see.

On to the main content. We just recently finished a somewhat exciting adventure, and I will tell you about it now.

Snow, Corlian, and a hireling wizard arrived at the small town of Vorwin, intent on aquiring some gold. In the local tavern, the Blue Gnome, they find out that the innkeeper is in need of someone to go collect some rent for him, they quickly agree to the sum of one thousand gold plus ten percent of the next month's rent. They head South, following the directions given by the innkeeper, and eventually reach the land that he owns. There, after some difficulty, they discovered that the rent is late because of a tribe of goblins that recently started demanding tribute. The goblins were due the very next day to come to collect the next tribute. The party decided to stay the night, and then deal with the goblins in the morning.

The next morning, they wake up to find that the goblins are within sight. After a few minutes of waiting, during which they readied weapons and spells, the goblins arrived. There were four goblins mounted on giant spiders the size of horses, and another driving a cart pulled by an even larger spider. The party started in killing before asking any questions, and, after a short, but bloody, battle, they started off to look for the lair of the enemy. When they reached the goblins' cave, they found it nearly deserted, except for a few voices chanting that they heard from the other side of a locked door. But, when Corlian burned down the door, all that was on the other side was a man cowering on the floor. But, as Snow went oover to see what was going on, the man turned out to be a werewolf, and attacked! After they killed it, they went back and claimed their reward.

There is the first "published" adventure of my gaming group, I hoped you liked it. I don't really have any other thoughts, so, until next time, Adieu.
